‘On another shore,’ takes a fresh look at two old children’s classics; ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Through the looking glass’ by Lewis Carroll. Grownups can learn much from these old favourites. The story, interpreted from an adult point of view, is illustrated with drawings by the original artist, Sir John Tenniel. The title comes from the sequence in which the Whiting tries to persuade the Snail to join with the other animals in a swim. The snail thinks it’s too far, but the Whiting assures him that there is another shore on the other side.
